Covington coach Dave Tobias enters his 27th season as the girls track coach in 2025. There are 19 ladies on the roster and many are returning from last year where the Lady Buccs won the TRC Championship and Tobias earning the Coach of the Year in the league.

Some talented athletes from last year graduated, but the Lady Buccs return many key contributors to success; Elyza Long, who won the TRC in the 1600, 3200 and in the 3200 meter relay, Hannah Alexander, who win the shot put in the TRC, and sophomore Ramse Vanderhorst, who was in the 3200 meter relay that won the TRC.

Plus, Elyza Long, and Ramse Vanderhorst qualified for regionals a year ago and both made it to state in the 4×800 meter relay.

There are five seniors; Hannah Alexander, Kylie Brown, Marin DuBois, Elyza Long, Makayla Vanderhorst – three juniors; Dakohta Kenworthy, Delaney Murphy, Bella Welch – six sophomores; Maura DuBois, Mary Larson, Nadia Ramirez, Ramse Vanderhost, Serenity Weaver, Lucy Welborn – and five freshmen; Abby Evans, Evelyn Feight, Caylee Swiger, Richelle Yingst, Willow Pellman.
