LADY BUCCS DOMINATE THE OPENING TOURNAMENT GAME

Covington Exempted Village Schools put together a great groundbreaking ceremony on Monday to provide information to the community and Covington students about the upcoming renovation of the stadium at Smith Field.

The annual Prom for Covington High School took place on Saturday, April 26th at The Light On The Hill in Casstown, Ohio with Avery Gooding and Elizabeth Coblentz being selected as the King and Queen.

THE BOIL ADVISORY IN COVINGTON IS NOW LIFTED

The Village of Covington did what it could in reaching out to residents to provide information on Boil Advisory due to the amount of rain that has fell over the past few days. Fortunately, the Boil Advisory was lifted in the morning on Sunday, August 6th.

After a scoreless game through eight innings, the Covington Buccaneers erupted with five runs in the ninth to capture a 5-1 win over Riverside.

LADY BUCCS SUFFER ANOTHER LOSS TO RIVERSIDE

Covington suffered a one-point loss for the second time this season against Riverside as the Lady Pirates defeated the Lady Buccs 5-4 in a makeup game.

Covington defeated Ansonia 4-3 in the final home game of the regular season where five Buccaneer seniors were honored by coaches, parents and fans.

Covington hosted the annual Covington Classic on Saturday and recorded two more wins by defeating Arcanum 7-5 and Troy 14-4.
