APRIL 22, 2026 – COVINGTON Tim Cline, who is currently the Covington Police Chief, resigned on Monday as he will be joining a larger community in the Vandalia Police Department after his position in Covington is finalized.
APRIL 20, 2026 – COVINGTON The Covington Bucc Boosters are hosting an annual CornHole Tournament as a fundraiser for the Covington Buccaneers football program on Saturday, April 25th at the Fraternal Order Of Eagles. The address is at 715 E. Broadway Street in Covington and next to the Covington Fire Department.
APRIL 11, 2026 – COVINGTON The Covington Tomorrow Club extended the annual Pancake Day for the 60th straight year for a benefit to Covington community members.
APRIL 8, 2026 – COVINGTON The Covington Events Association is hosting the 2nd Annual School House Parks Rocks Festival on May 15th and 16th — Celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary. This two day event will bring the Village of Covington and the surrounding areas together through music, food, fun and community spirit.
MARCH 24, 2026 – COVINGTON Hosted by the Covington Bucc Boosters, a 3on3 Basketball Tournament scheduled for May 30th and May 31st will provide benefits for the Covington Buccaneers basketball program.
FEBRUARY 8, 2026 – COVINGTON Members of the Covington community honored A.J. Ouellette for his accomplishment of capturing a Grey Cup Championship with the Saskatchewan Roughriders and how he has represented Covington throughout his life.
APRIL 21, 2026 – COVINGTON Earlier in the season Covington was rune-ruled by Miami East, but Tuesday the Buccaneers played very well even though they lost to the Vikings 6-4.
APRIL 21, 2026 – COVINGTON For the second time this season the Covington Lady Buccs fell to Miami East due to unfortunate miscues with Tuesday’s defeat being at the score of 12-6.

APRIL 21, 2026 – CASSTOWN Covington competed in the Miami County Invitational at Miami East High School on Tuesday with a total of nine schools in the competition.
APRIL, 20, 2026 – COVINGTON The Lady Buccs pulled out their ninth straight win of the season with an impressive 11-1 victory over New Bremen in five innings.
APRIL 18, 2026 – MINSTER In a very competitive invitational at Minster, Covington’s boys finished 6th out of 15 teams with 42 points and the girls finished 13th with 11 points.
