BUCCS OPEN THE SEASON WELL IN MECHANICSBURG

DECEMBER 6, 2025 – MECHANICSBURG
Covington finished in 5th place out of 18 teams at the Mechanicsburg Heart of Ohio tournament, despite being down a few wrestlers at the event. Defending state champion Parkersburg South, West Virginia, won the tournament. In all, the Buccs put five wrestlers on the podium with top-6 finishes.

43RD ANNUAL HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY

The Covington High School Athletic Hall of Fame will hold their 43rd annual Induction Ceremony on Saturday, December 20, 2025, prior to the High School Boys’ Basketball game vs. Milton-Union. This year’s Hall of Fame inductees include: Nathan Dunn, Class of 2015, Anna Dunn-Sturgis, Class of 2017, Samantha Whiteman, Class of 2019, and Honorary Inductee, Michael Schaffer, Class of 1966.

A.J. OUELLETTE WINS SECOND GREY CUP CHAMPIONSHIP

NOVEMBER 16, 2025 – WINNIPEG, CANADA
2014 Covington graduate A.J. Ouellette captured the second Grey Cup Championship in a 25-17 victory over Montreal on Sunday in Winnipeg, Canada.
