The Covington cross country teams competed in the Piqua Invite Under The Lights on Saturday and the boys finished 11th out of 28 teams, while the girls finished 16th out of 30 team.

Taylor Kirker, a senior standout on the Lady Buccs’ volleyball team, had a historic night as she recorded her 2000th career assist on Thursday in a three-set victory over Milton-Union, 25-14, 25-19, 26-24.

Covington tied its season best of 165 strokes on Tuesday, but unfortunately it didn’t lead to a win as Lehman won by two strokes over the Buccaneers.
