The Covington Events Association is hosting the 2nd Annual School House Parks Rocks Festival on May 15th and 16th — Celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary. This two day event will bring the Village of Covington and the surrounding areas together through music, food, fun and community spirit.

The Covington Buccaneers trailed 5-3 heading into the bottom of the seventh inning, but were able to score three impressive runs for a walk-off 6-5 victory over Jackson Center.

In the opening round of the post-season tournament, the Covington Lady Buccs took care of business with a dominating 23-1 victory over Springfield Catholic Central on Monday.

LADY BUCCS SPLIT GAMES IN COVINGTON CLASSIC

The Covington Lady Buccs tied the school record with 48 home runs in the season and Emalyn Johnson broke the individual school record with 16 home runs in the season, which made Saturday memorable despite splitting the two games against Urbana and Beavercreek in the Covington Classic.

The Covington Buccaneers continued their progression on Saturday by overcoming a 3-1 deficit against Ansonia and beating the Tigers 5-3.
