The Covington volleyball, program enters the 2026 season with talented players who had a huge impact last year where the Lady Buccs finished with an 18-5 overall record and was second in the TRC with a record of 12-2.

The Village of Covington received a great application for a Police Chief from David Friend, a legendary individual who has had a huge impact in several communities throughout his contributions in Police Departments. Fortunately, Covington hired Friend in the position as the Police Chief, which puts the Village of Covington into ideal situations for security.
ANOTHER GREAT 4TH OF JULY

A community member of Covington put together so much time and spent a lot of money to organize a fireworks presentation to benefit local residents in the night of the 4th of July.

The Board of Education announced the hiring of a new Superintendent for Covington Exempted Village Schools, Dr. Katina Childers.

The annual event honoring graduates from Covington High School was held on Saturday Night on June 6th at the Covington Exempted Village Schools.
3on3 BASKETBALL WAS OUTSTANDING

A 3on3 basketball tournament that generated intention and beneficial money for the Buccaneer basketball program was so fun to watch due to so many athletic players throughout the entire day on Saturday.

Covington has 11 cross country runners on the boys team with the majority of them returning from that year.

The 2026 Covington Buccaneers are in potential for an outstanding season due to 17 seniors and several returning players who have several years of hard work and experience.
BUCCS FINISH 13TH AT FORT LORAMIE INVITATIONAL

There were 16 teams in the Fort Loramie Invitational and the Covington buccaneers finished 13th with a score of 369.
BUCCS GO 1-1 IN FIRST TWO MATCHES

The Covington Buccaneers opened up their season with a victory against Fairlawn on Thursday, July 30th and then lost their first match against Milton-Union on Monday, August 3rd.

The Covington Buccaneers have 16 golfers on the roster with three of them being returning varsity golfers from a year ago where the team finished fourth place in the TRC with a 7-5 league record
