The Covington Buccaneers put forth their best performance of the season in a 48-42 victory over longtime rival, Miami East.
43RD ANNUAL HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES
The Covington High School Athletic Hall of Fame held the 43rd annual Induction Ceremony on Saturday, December 20, 2025. This year’s Hall of Fame inductees included: Nathan Dunn, Class of 2015, Anna Dunn-Sturgis, Class of 2017, Samantha Whiteman, Class of 2019, and Honorary Inductee, Michael Schaffer, Class of 1966.

The Covington Lady Buccs showcased their progression on Thursday even though they suffered an unfortunate loss to Bethel, 48-35.
BUCCS SUFFER A DUAL DEFEAT TO VERSAILLES

The Covington Buccaneers traveled to Versailles on Tuesday for a head-to-head dual and suffered a 60-8 loss to a very good Tigers wrestling team.
BUCCS WIN URBANA INVITATIONAL

Covington put in an outstanding team effort at the Mike Agerter Memorial Invitational in Urbana on Saturday, finishing in 1st place out of 15 schools.
BUCCS FINISH FIFTH AT TROY INVITATIONAL
JANUARY 3, 2026 – TROY
Covington’s wrestling team put in a solid performance at the Troy Invitational on Saturday, finishing in 5th place out of 18 teams. Eight of the Buccs’ eleven competing wrestlers placed in the top-6 at the tournament.
A MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE AT THE GMVWA HOLIDAY TOURNAMENT
DECEMBER 30, 2025 – VANDALIA
The final wrestling tournament in the year of 2025 was a very memorable experience for the Covington Buccaneers as three wrestlers placed in their weight class and coach Eric Vanderhorst was inducted into the Greater Miami Valley Wrestling Association Hall of Fame.
