MAY 13, 2026 – COVINGTON In the second round of the post-season tournament, the Covington Lady Buccs put together a dominating 21-0 victory over Jackson Center.
The Covington High School Athletic Hall of Fame held the 43rd annual Induction Ceremony on Saturday, December 20, 2025. This year’s Hall of Fame inductees included: Nathan Dunn, Class of 2015, Anna Dunn-Sturgis, Class of 2017, Samantha Whiteman, Class of 2019, and Honorary Inductee, Michael Schaffer, Class of 1966.
MAY 13, 2026 – COVINGTON Brock Gessner, a senior at Covington High School, committed to extend his swimming career and academic opportunities at the collegiate level by choosing Ashland University.
MAY 12, 2026 – COVINGTON The Covington Buccaneers trailed 5-3 heading into the bottom of the seventh inning, but were able to score three impressive runs for a walk-off 6-5 victory over Jackson Center.
MAY 11, 2026 – COVINGTON In the opening round of the post-season tournament, the Covington Lady Buccs took care of business with a dominating 23-1 victory over Springfield Catholic Central on Monday.
MAY 9, 2026 – COVINGTON The Covington Lady Buccs tied the school record with 48 home runs in the season and Emalyn Johnson broke the individual school record with 16 home runs in the season, which made Saturday memorable despite splitting the two games against Urbana and Beavercreek in the Covington Classic.
MAY 9, 2026 – ANSONIA The Covington Buccaneers continued their progression on Saturday by overcoming a 3-1 deficit against Ansonia and beating the Tigers 5-3.
