FIVE BUCCS QUALIFY FOR STATE
MAY 29, 2026 – CHILLICOTHE
Covington’s senior Day’Lynn Garrett and junior Filip McMaken qualified for state by finishing in the top four of their individual competitions and the two relay teams (4×200 and 4×400) also qualified for state at the Regional meet.
43RD ANNUAL HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES
The Covington High School Athletic Hall of Fame held the 43rd annual Induction Ceremony on Saturday, December 20, 2025. This year’s Hall of Fame inductees included: Nathan Dunn, Class of 2015, Anna Dunn-Sturgis, Class of 2017, Samantha Whiteman, Class of 2019, and Honorary Inductee, Michael Schaffer, Class of 1966.

Jayden Wackler, a 2026 Covington graduate, committed to extend his golfing career and education at Defiance College as he signed up on Friday with many supporters present.
