BUCCS BATTLED HARD AGAINST MIAMI EAST

Earlier in the season Covington was rune-ruled by Miami East, but Tuesday the Buccaneers played very well even though they lost to the Vikings 6-4.
43RD ANNUAL HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES
The Covington High School Athletic Hall of Fame held the 43rd annual Induction Ceremony on Saturday, December 20, 2025. This year’s Hall of Fame inductees included: Nathan Dunn, Class of 2015, Anna Dunn-Sturgis, Class of 2017, Samantha Whiteman, Class of 2019, and Honorary Inductee, Michael Schaffer, Class of 1966.

For the second time this season the Covington Lady Buccs fell to Miami East due to unfortunate miscues with Tuesday’s defeat being at the score of 12-6.
COVINGTON COMPETES IN 2026 MIAMI COUNTY INVITATIONAL

Covington competed in the Miami County Invitational at Miami East High School on Tuesday with a total of nine schools in the competition.
LADY BUCCS PULL AWAY 11-1 WIN OVER NEW BREMEN

The Lady Buccs pulled out their ninth straight win of the season with an impressive 11-1 victory over New Bremen in five innings.
BOYS FINISHED 6TH, GIRLS 13TH AT MINSTER IN TRACK
APRIL 18, 2026 – MINSTER
In a very competitive invitational at Minster, Covington’s boys finished 6th out of 15 teams with 42 points and the girls finished 13th with 11 points.
LADY BUCCS MAKE A COMEBACK WIN OVER RUSSIA
APRIL 17, 2026 – RUSSIA
Covington fell behind 9-3 against Russia, but was able to regroup over the next four innings to capture a thrilling 12-9 comeback victory on the road.
