
CASSTOWN – Covington competed in the Miami County Invitational at Miami East High School on Tuesday with a total of nine schools in the competition.
Covington’s boys finished 6th with 43.5 team by placing in the top eight in nine events. Day’Lynn Garrett won the 300 meter hurdles and finished second in the 110 meter hurdles. The boys 4×200 relay team also finished second.
The girls finished 8th with 23 team points by placing in the top eight in seven events.
