Taylor Kirker, a senior standout on the Lady Buccs’ volleyball team, had a historic night as she recorded her 2000th career assist on Thursday in a three-set victory over Milton-Union, 25-14, 25-19, 26-24.

Covington tied its season best of 165 strokes on Tuesday, but unfortunately it didn’t lead to a win as Lehman won by two strokes over the Buccaneers.

The Covington cross country program hosted the annual Buccaneer Invitational at the Covington Fraternal Order of Eagles Picnic Grounds on Saturday.
