It was a “special” day at No Name Athletics Saturday as Co-owners A.J. Ouellette and Brandon Wirrig hosted the No Name Athletics Special Needs powerlifting competition, with approximately 40 lifters competing.

LADY BUCCS WIN ANOTHER DEFENSIVE BATTLE AGAINST EAST

FEBRUARY 6, 2025 – CASSTOWN
The final regular season game for Covington was extremely challenging due to the effort put forth by both teams, but the Lady Buccs were able to capture a 32-18 win in a highly contested defensive battle.

FEBRUARY 4, 2025 – PLEASANT HILL
The Covington Buccaneers won their second straight game for the first time this season by defeating neighboring rival Newton, 40-37.

THE BUCCS DEFEAT SIDNEY AND SPRINGFIELD

FEBRUARY 3, 2025 – SIDNEY
Covington traveled to Sidney to face the Yellow Jackets along with Springfield on Monday night and the Buccs came away victorious in both duals, defeating Springfield, 56-21, and defeating Sidney, 64-18.

THE BUCCS DEFEATED TRI-COUNTY NORTH, 59-43

FEBRUARY 1, 2025 – COVINGTON
The Covington Buccaneers captured a 59-43 win over Tri-County North, which hopefully leads to more success throughout the remainder of the season.

LADY BUCCS LOCK UP LEAGUE TITLE

In the final home game of the season, the Covington Lady Buccs put together a great performance in a 60-33 win over Riverside – a win that secured the league championship in the TRC.
