NOVEMBER 16, 2025 – WINNIPEG, CANADA 2014 Covington graduate A.J. Ouellette captured the second Grey Cup Championship in a 25-17 victory over Montreal on Sunday in Winnipeg, Canada.
The Covington High School Athletic Hall of Fame will hold their 43rd annual Induction Ceremony on Saturday, December 20, 2025, prior to the High School Boys’ Basketball game vs. Milton-Union. This year’s Hall of Fame inductees include: Nathan Dunn, Class of 2015, Anna Dunn-Sturgis, Class of 2017, Samantha Whiteman, Class of 2019, and Honorary Inductee, Michael Schaffer, Class of 1966.
SEPTEMBER 1, 2025 – COVINGTON The Fort Rowdy Gathering provides an enjoyable weekend experience for everyone who attends and also benefits the Covington Community. This 33rd festival was held over Labor Day Weekend and had so many things available for all ages to have a good time.
AUGUST 18, 2025 – COVINGTON The 33rd annual Fort Rowdy Gathering is scheduled for Saturday, August 30th starting at 10:00am through Monday, September 1st at the Covington Community Park.

JULY 15, 2025 – COVINGTON Dennis “Scooby” Willoughby, the legendary Buccs #1 Fan and an Honorary Member of the Covington Athletic Hall of Fame, was honored by the Covington Community with his name and information on the Memory Walk right here at the entry of Covington’s School.
JULY 5, 2025 – COVINGTON Saturday night was another great evening of fireworks provided by a local resident who has a passion of positively impacting members within his home town – Covington.
JUNE 7, 2025 – COVINGTON The annual alumni event was held Saturday night on June 7th in Covington’s school and several former graduates attended to meet up with life long friends.
NOVEMBER 8, 2025 – SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA The Saskatchewan Roughriders captured a thrilling 24-21 victory over the BC Lions in the Western Final to advance to the Grey Cup Championship and a key to the victory was the performance of A.J. Ouellette, a Covington Buccaneer legend.
NOVEMBER 7, 2025 – SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA A.J. Ouellette, a legendary Covington High School athlete, is compiling an amazing professional football career in his sixth season as a key running back in the CFL (Canadian Football League).
OCTOBER 31, 2025 – COLDWATER The Covington Buccaneers finished the 2025 season with a 5-6 record after an unfortunate 48-0 loss to a very good Coldwater football team.

OCTOBER 24, 2025 – COVINGTON The Covington Buccaneers gave maximum effort and made some great plays, but several mistakes led to a frustrating 48-34 defeat to Lehman Catholic in the final game of the regular season.
OCTOBER 20, 2025 – KETTERING The Covington Lady Buccs put forth a quality season, but came up short of advancing to the district final due to an upset defeat to Mississinawa Valley.
