2026 LADY BUCCS CROSS COUNTRY
SEASON PREVIEW
The Covington girls cross country team in 2026 has six runners on the roster and four of them returning from last season.
The two seniors are Lucy Welborn and Serenity Weaver. Lucy earned honorable mention in the TRC with her season best time of 23:22.
There are no juniors, but two talented sophomores returned, Alice Larson and Mosley Welborns. Alice Larson led the team last year by earning first team in the TRC league with a time of 20:40. She also finished 24th in the district meet last year as a freshman.
There are two new competitors on the girls cross country team; Tessa Lyons and Natalie Parke.
The girls have the potential for another solid season due to the returning and additional runners in the program. Last year they finished 4th in the TRC and 12th in the district.
