What to expect: Our girls will look to build on their great cross season and track season last year. They made their first trip back to the cross country regional meet for the first time in several years and several of them were able to participate in the regional and state track meet. We look forward to watching them improve throughout the year.

Elyza Long finished 13th at state with a time of 18:41 to become the third girl in Covington history to earn All-State Honors in cross country.

Covington senior Elyza Long, the daughter of Josh and Libby Long, committed to the University of Findlay to extend her education and running career in the sports of cross country and track.
