SEASON PREVIEW There are 22 ladies on the Lady Buccs Track & Field team in 2026 with potential for a quality season that will be led by three outstanding seniors; Dakohta Kenworthy, Kassidy Turner and Bella Welch. All three seniors are multi-sport athletes – Kenworthy in Volleyball and Track, Turner in Cross Country and Track, and Welch in Cross Country, Cheerleading and Track.
Seven more on the roster are juniors who have experience and ability in the program; Maura DuBois, Mary Larson, Nadia Ramirez, Ramsé Vanderhorst, Bella Batdorf, Serenity Weaver and Lucy Welborn. Like the seniors, they all participate in multi-sports.
Five more are sophomores; Abigail Evans, Evelyn Feight, Selena Santos, Caylee Swiger and Richelle Yingst, with seven on the roster as freshmen who had a solid junior high season a year ago; Chloe Aselage, Ellie Ayres, Madelyn Batdorf, Emma Havenar, Alice Larson, Evelynn Schaefer and Mosely Welborn.
Last year the Lady Buccs finished third in the TRC and had a state placer who graduated in 2025, Elyza Long.
With the development established by Dave Tobias in his 28th season as the head coach and the talent in the Lady Buccs program, the 2026 season is in position for success in several events.
