Some key athletes returning and young talent has the coaching staff excited about this year’s track and field team.
Field Events: We do not have any varsity throwers returning to the team this year, but we are looking forward to seeing our boys improve throughout the year. Our Sophomores should lead the way, but our Freshmen will be looking to make an impact as the year goes. Sophomores include: James McDonald, Will Hand, Garrett Petry, Jacob Belmaggio and Mason Epperson. Our Freshman include, Aiden Curtis, Trenton Havenar and Jackson Hollis. Junior Preston King will lead us in high jump along with Freshman Filip McMaken. Sophomore Day’Lynn Garrett will lead us in the long jump and Freshmen Trent Reynolds, Nick Zuhl, and Wyatt Schaffer will also be competing in long jump for us.

They will be led by returning 2023 TRC track athlete of the year, Asher Long. Asher currently owns the 1600 and 3200 meter school records and was a state placer in the 3200 last year.
