CLASS OF 2026 GRADUATION CEREMONY

TROY – The 157th annual Covington High School Commencement Ceremony for the graduation class of 2026 was held on Sunday at Hobart Arena in Troy.

Co-Valedictorians Dakohta Kenworthy and Owen Leistner put together outstanding speeches during the ceremony and William “Bill” Miller, a 1987 Covington graduate, was the commencement speaker.

Four graduates accomplished 3.9 GPA or higher; Dakohta Kenworthy, Owen Leistner, Timothy Taubert and Jackson Witt and the Academic Honors Diploma Recipients are Brock Gessner, Dakohta Kenworthy, Owen Leistner, Lillan Mumford, Jayden Wackler and Jackson Witt. The Career Technical Honors Diploma Recipients are Whitney Burns, Caleigh Gilpin, William Hand, Jayda McClure and Isabelle Welch.

The Department Awards were regarded to Owen Leistner in Science and Social Studies, Caleigh Gilpin in English, Whitney Burns in Mathematics, Brodie Manson in Business/Technology, and James MacDonald in Engineering/PLTW.
