COVINGTON – The Covington community enjoyed a perfect evening for its annual Trick-or-Treat celebration, as children throughout town dressed in their favorite Halloween costumes and filled their bags with candy and treats.

The beautiful weather made the evening even more enjoyable for everyone involved. What made the event especially memorable was the tremendous support from community members who generously handed out candy to the many children visiting their homes and business.

Another impressive aspect of the evening was the outstanding behavior and respect shown by the children. They demonstrated kindness and courtesy by taking turns, sharing space with others, and thanking the residents who generously provided treats.

Several local businesses, the fire department, rescue squad and police department also contributed to the festivities by distributing candy and other goodies throughout the community. In addition, Covington High School student-athletes made a positive impact by interacting with the younger children and helping make the evening even more special.

The entire event was a wonderful example of the pride, generosity, and community spirit that make Covington such a special place.

A heartfelt thank-you goes out to everyone throughout Covington who contributed to making this year’s Trick-or-Treat celebration such an enjoyable and memorable experience for the children and their families.
