LADY BUCCS DEFEAT LEHMAN, 62-30

SIDNEY – Covington traveled to Lehman on Thursday and came away with a 32-point victory to capture and important win in the TRC league.

Eight players on the team scored for Covington with Emalyn Johnson leading the team with 18 points, the most individual points scored in the game. Two more Lady Buccs scored double digits as Avery Koffer tallied 13 points and Bella Batdorf had 11 points.

Covington took control of the game early by building a 16-9 lead at the end of the first quarter and then pushed the lead to 31-16 at the break. The trend continued in the second half as Covington outscored Lehman 31-14 to close out the 62-30 win.

The Lady Buccs are now 3-5 overall and 1-4 in the TRC. Up next is a home game against Northridge on Monday.
