The Covington Events Association is hosting the 2nd Annual School House Parks Rocks Festival — Celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary. This two day event will bring the Village of Covington and the surrounding areas together through music, food, fun and community spirit.
THE FESTIVAL BEGINS AT 5:00PM ON FRIDAY AND 11:00AM ON SATURDAY.
LIVE MUSIC: Látter, ACT-3, Stranger, Mark Cantwil and the Dusty Strays, Driving Force, The Prime Time Blues Band, Simple Daze, Seth Canan & The Carriers, Eight Ball, Off The Record, Titus Bowman, Zane Michael.
Covington’s Marching Band will play the National Anthem at 5:45pm on Friday and a Drone Show is scheduled for 9:30pm on Saturday.

For the festival, feel free to bring lawn chairs and/or blankets to use for sitting to watch the concerts.
NOTE: There are no coolers, umbrellas, pop-up tents or glass bottles allowed at the School House Park.
DRONE SHOW
There is a Drone Show also scheduled in the intermission of the Latter concert, which will be around 9:30pm on Saturday, May 16th and double the size from last year. The Drone Show will be an amazing visual presentation that will be executed by Great Lakes Drone Company LLC. This event will also be sponsored by Covington Community Chest.

There are several parking options for those who attend the festival of the School House Park Rocks! People may park along the side of streets within the community and there are also several parking lots available as well. One is located one block to the west of the festival at the Newberry Township Building off of Pearl Street. Two more parking lots are available to the east of the festival, one just north of Smith Field and the second one is at the Covington Exempted Village Schools at 807 Chestnut Street in Covington.
