TROY – The Covington Buccaneers improved their record to 2-0 in the TRC with a convincing victory over Troy Christian by 36 strokes on Friday at Miami Shores Golf Course.

The Buccaneers tallied a team total of 169 strokes to 205 for the Eagles and senior Cameron Haines led Covington with a score of 41.

Bryson Hite finished in 42 strokes, while Matt Dieperink and Sam Grabeman both tallied a score of 43.

Brodie Manson finished with a 47 on his card and Connor Humphrey finished with a score of 53.

The Buccaneers will next compete in the Troy Invitational on Monday.
