THE BUCCS RECORD A GREAT WIN OVER MIAMI EAST

PIQUA – The Covington Buccaneers put forth their best performance at this point of the season in an impressive victory over Miami East on Tuesday.

The team total of 164 strokes was the lowest score so far this season, which led to a nine-stroke victory over Miami East 164-173.

The win boosts Covington’s overall record to 5-3 and 4-3 in the TRC.

Brodie Manson recorded the top score of the day with 38 strokes, just two over the par 36 in nine holes.

Finn Rogers tallied 41 strokes, while Jayden Wackler had 42 and Brairen Denson finished with 43.

Caleb Smith finished with 47 and Jackson Hollis had 54.

The Buccs travel to face Lehman Catholic tomorrow, the team who leads the TRC at this point of the season.
