PIQUA – The Covington Lady Buccs had a memorable day in the TRC Tournament on Monday as senior Bella Batdorf earns the Conference Player of the Year award by winning the contest.
Batdorf finished with 106 strokes to finished first place in the tournament. She closed out six strokes over the league runner-up, Carson Freeman from Bethel.
Covington finished 3rd as a team with 544 strokes ad Tessa Lyons finished 9th (138), Kynlee Dues 12th (149), Willow Pellman 15th (152), Mya Sampson 16th (161, and Rylie Salyer 19th (183).
The Lady Buccs will compete in the Division 2 Sectional Tournament on Wednesday at Stillwater.
