PIQUA – The Covington Buccaneers captured a victory over Milton-Union in their first head-to-head matchup in the TRC.

In a par 36 at Echo Hills, the Buccaneers defeated Milton-Union with 173 strokes to 195.

Senior Matt Dieperink continued his amazing performance by finishing with a score of 36, which was even par through nine holes.

Junior Brodie Manson also had a big day as he finished just five over par with 41 strokes, while Jayden Wackler and Caden Hollingsworth finished with a score of 48. Brairen Denson tallied a 52 and Caleb Smith finished with 57 strokes.

The Buccs are now 2-0 in the TRC.

Next up for the Buccs is a match against Troy Christian tomorrow at Echo Hills.
