COVINGTON – The Covington Lady Buccs volleyball team spent time with Covington residents at the Stillwater Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation facility on Tuesday.

Located on Mote Drive in Covington, Stillwater Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation (formerly known as the Covington Care Center) has a vision to inspire and assist the community to “live life to the fullest”, while supporting each individual’s unique need on the road to recovery and the transition to home.

Tuesday was a great experience for those within the facility as they were able to establish a bond with the Lady Buccs volleyball players by playing a game similar to volleyball and then enjoying lunch together.

The tradition of the Covington student/athletes spending time with those in this facility has been re-established since the Covid years halted this experience. Many of the residents who are residing in Stillwater Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation have spent a significant amount of time supporting Covington athletics throughout their lives and it was apparent they all enjoyed spending time with the Lady Buccs.
