BUCCS REPEAT AS CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS

PIQUA – The Covington Buccaneers capped one of the most impressive regular seasons in program history by winning the TRC Championship on Thursday with a team score of 318 at Echo Hills Golf Course in Piqua.

The Buccaneers finished unbeaten on the season in the TRC with a 14-0 league record, 7-0 in tournament wins and an overall record of 21-0.

In the league championship tournament, Cameron Haines led the Buccs with a low score of 76 in 18 holes. Matt Dieperink and Sam Grabeman both finished in 79 strokes, while Brodie Manson carded an 84, Bryson Hite an 85 and Connor Humphrey an 86.

On the season, Matt Dieperink led the Buccaneers with 250 overall points. Cameron Haines had 242.5, Sam Grabeman 235.5, Bryson Hite 229, Brodie Manson 205 and Connor Humphrey 176.
