
The Covington Buccaneers lost three straight league matches this past week to good golf teams, Milton-Union, Troy Christian and Miami East.
The weather wasn’t ideal, which forced the Kendig Memorial Invitational cancelled and the matchup against Lehman being rescheduled. Still, the three other league games for Covington were played.
On August 13th, the Buccaneers lost their second contest against Milton-Union, 173-162. For the Buccs, Finn Rogers recorded the lowest strokes of 39 in 36 pars.
On Tuesday, August 18th, Covington suffered a defeat to TroyChristian, 192-168. The lowest strokes compiled for the Buccaneers was 45 by Boston Koffer in 36 pars.
On Wednesday, August 19th at Lakeland, Covington lost to Miami East 177-163. Fijnn Rogers, Boston Koffer and Caiden Hollingsworth finished with 43 strokes each in the 36 pars.
The Buccaneers are now 2-4 overall and 1-4 in the TRC.
