PIQUA – The Covington boys golf team had season-best score in a victory over Riverside to improve its record to 5-2 in the league.

The Buccs defeated Riverside by 11 strokes, 165-176.

Matt Dieperink finished one under par with a score of 35 and Brodie Manson finished just one over par with a 37.

Riverside had a medalist as Jaxon Woods finished four under par with 32 strokes.

The Buccaneers have six days to work on their game before hosting Lehman next Tuesday.
