PIQUA – The Covington Buccaneers regrouped after two straight losses by defeating Miami East by three strokes, 168-171.

Matthew Dieperink finished with the best score on the day by finishing with 37 strokes, one stroke over par at Echo Hills. Brodie Manson was also impressive as he tallied 38 strokes, which was only two strokes over par.

Brairen Denson and Jayden Wackler also contributed greatly to the final team score as Denson finished with 45 strokes and Wackler tallied 48 strokes.

The win puts Covington’s record in the TRC at 6-5.
