ST. PARIS – The Covington Buccaneers defeated Miami East 168-169 in a critical TRC matchup at Lakeland Golf Course in St. Paris on Monday.

The victory as huge as Covington improves its record to 4-2 in the TRC.

Matt Dieperink led the Buccs with a score of 38, but it was one stroke behind the medalist from Miami East, Kaidin Pratt, who finished one over par with a score of 37.

Brodie Manson finished with 40 strokes, while Jayden Wackler scored 43 and Caleb Smith tallied a 47.

The Buccs host Riverside tomorrow at Echo Hills.
