PIQUA – The Covington Lady Buccs opened the 2022 season by hosting the annual Lady Bucc Invitational at Echo Hills Golf Course in Piqua on Monday. Covington finished in 14th place with a team score of 553.
Fort Loramie won the event with a score of 359 with Versailles taking runner-up with a mark of 378.
Individually for Covington, junior Kila Stephan recorded a team-best mark of 127 strokes, while junior Amie Burtrum turned in a 130 mark. Freshman Calleigh Edgell tallied a score of 146, while junior Kara Stephan carded a 150 and senior Lainee McMaken scored a 152.
