2021-22 BUCCS BASKETBALL
The Covington Buccaneers finished the 2021-22 season with a 5-17 overall record and a 2-12 record in their inaugural season in the Three Rivers Conference.
In the Three Rivers Conference, where all eight teams faced each other twice, the Buccaneers earned wins over Riverside 56-54 and Northridge 37-34. Covington defeated Mississinawa Valley 53-37, Houston 58-48 and Tri-County North 63-50 in non-conference action.
Two Buccaneers earned post-season honors as senior Carter Maxson and sophomore Britton Miller were named honorable mention in the league. Miller led the Buccaneers in scoring with 184 points and with 77 assists, while Maxson led the Buccs with 109 rebounds.
The Buccaneers graduate seven seniors – Owen Boehringer, Carter Maxson, Gavin Fraley, Tyler Alexander, Garrett Fraley, Cam Kirker and Izeke Benedict.
