PIQUA – The Covington Lady Buccs held the first annual Ron Schultz Memorial Golf Tournament on Monday at Echo Hills with 14 teams present.
The Lady Buccs, a team with several young ladies on the roster, finished 12th with 490 team strokes.
Leading the way for Covington was senior Bella Batdorf as she tallied 104 total strokes in 18th holes. She finished with 51 strokes in the first nine holes and 53 in the final nine holes.
Tessa Lyons, a freshman, performed well with 127 strokes and so did another freshman, Kylee Dues as she finished with 129 strokes.
Willow Pellman finished with 130 on the day and Mya Sampson closed with 137 strokes.
