KETTERING – The Covington Lady Buccs put forth a quality season, but came up short of advancing to the district final due to an upset defeat to Mississinawa Valley.

Entering the tournament, Covington was the second seeded team, while Mississinawa was seeded fifth.

The Lady Buccs lost the first set 25-22, but seamed to set the tone for success with a dominating victory in the second set 25-14.

Unfortunately, Covington suffered dissappointing situations throughout the next two sets due to self inflicted mistakes and Mississinawa Valley was able to take advantage by capturing stunning victories by the scores of 25-19 and 25-23.

The Lady Buccs end their season with an 18-6 record and five talented seniors had their high school careers end; Dakohta Kenworthy, Nell Rogers, Hollan Koffer, Addison Ventura and Jayda McClure.
