PIQUA – The Covington Buccaneers recorded their best score so far this season with 156 strokes to defeat Troy Christian by 11 strokes at Echo Hills.

The previous best score was the previous match against Milton-Union, which was 160 strokes. The Buccaneers are progressing at the right time with the league and post-season tournaments coming up soon.

Jayden Wackler led the Buccs with a score of 37, just one stroke over par. Fin Rogers scored 38, Brodie Manson 39, Caleb Smith 42, Brairen Denson 43 and Caiden Hollingsworth 50.

The Buccs are now 8-4 overall and 7-4 in the TRC.
