In what was one of the most exciting games in the annual Buccaneer Holiday Classic, the Covington Lady Buccs pulled out a thrilling 43-37 victory over Arcanum.

The 42nd Covington Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony was a memorable evening as legendary softball coach Dean Denlinger was inducted as an honorary member and three teams he led to the state final four in 2011, 2012 and 2013 were inducted as teams.

Win or lose, the annual Buccaneer Holiday Classic is always a great experience for players, coaches and fans each and every year and the opening round for the Lady Buccs was extremely impressive considering the execution in all phases of the game in a 55-17 win over neighboring rival, Bradford.
