LADY BUCCS OPEN THE TOURNAMENT WITH A WIN

KETTERING – The Covington Lady Buccs opened up the post-season tournament with an impressive three-set victory over Miami Valley at Kettering Fairmont on Tuesday.

The Lady Buccs entered the post-season tournament as the second seed, while Miami Valley was seeded 15th. This made the opportunity for success ideal for Covington as long as the team played at a high level.

And the high level of volleyball play was successful as the Lady Buccs won the three sets by the scores of 25-7, 25-4, and 25-7.

Covington’s record is now 18-5 overall and the next game is against either Mississinawa Valley or Jackson Center on Monday, October 20th at 7:00pm in the same gymnasium at Kettering Fairmont High School.
